poem called "High Fructose Rainbows"

High Fructose Rainbows

         -Nanonotation #1-
Light is not dark!
skeleton runs miracle mile and reports as follows:
(Warning: The ants are large and articulate)
-----------
The limb giving.
Bubbling lessons.
Learning practice, guru logic
callouses atop stupidity.
Kill! The wash-away was impossibly dry.
Still!
The ladders rung held your song like a baby:
                   Perplexed by certainty,
                   lost in found.
                   Loved by rejection as
the smallest point is a universe of fake flowers (arranged by hands unlike my own).
Sweet White,
talk me down with your brightness
so we can circumambulate this ghost town
together...in an unusually upright manner.
Final analysis:
-The old one with the white teeth is a deviled angel
-The monk is suspiciously kind
-The lady is not from around here
-The green chants dribbled down my spine
-The marine is as big as tomorrow
-The kid, a switchblade in disguise.

This is a poem that explores some experiences from a Dzogchen retreat that I attended in the summer of 2009. It includes a somewhat troubling amount of detail. I say "troubling" because the poem was written in 2006. No joke.
